Mubadala Petroleum has commissioned Yahsat to investigate satellite technologies

Mubadala Petroleum has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat), which is the UAE’s main satellite solutions provider, to investigate the supply of satellite services connectivity throughout its properties in Southeast Asia.

Khalid Al Kaf, Yahsat’s Chief Operations Officer, and Mazin Al Lamki, Mubadala Petroleum’s Chief Operating Officer, signed the MoU. It lays out a strategy for developing customized services for the energy sector throughout Mubadala Petroleum’s many sites. The two firms will look at how Yahsat’s industry-leading satellite-based technology and vast coverage across EMEA and Asia may help Mubadala Petroleum’s vital operations, such as connectivity between Mubadala Petroleum’s site offices, associated data centers, and headquarters.
