The digital association Bitkom calculates for 2021 a slightly shrinking market. The lack of demand should not be the reason.

Berlin (dpa) – According to calculations by the Bitkom digital association, the market for televisions, game consoles and other consumer electronics devices is expected to grow slightly by around four percent to 8, 96 Billions of euros are shrinking.

The reason for this is not a lack of demand, but primarily delivery problems, said Bitkom President Achim Berg in an online press conference.

Video consumption on the smartphone

This effect will continue, ”said Berg.
